About us
Rose & Hammer is a UK-wide directory of verified tradeswomen, created by The Women's Auto Academy.
Our story
The Women's Auto Academy was set up to help women feel confident with their cars. Again and again, people asked us the same question: "Do you know a woman who could do this job?" Rose & Hammer is our answer.
What we do
We bring together qualified tradeswomen across the UK — mechanics, plumbers, electricians, plasterers and many more — in one place that's easy to search.
- We check every tradeswoman before her listing goes live. How verification works
- Her phone number and email are never shown publicly.
- You only share your contact details once she has accepted your enquiry.
What we don't do
We're a directory, not a booking service. We don't take payments or commission — any agreement for work is between you and the tradeswoman.
